I am a Postdoctoral Researcher and lecturer working at the Dept. of Specific Didactics (Faculty of Education and Psychology), at the Universitat de Girona, with the support of a Margarita Salas fellowship (funded by European Union-NextGenerationEU, Ministry of Universities and Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, through a call from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona). I am a research member of the GRECA (Institut de Recerca Educativa) at the Universitat de Girona and of the Prosodic Studies Group (GrEP) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
My specific line of research focuses on the multimodal integration of gesture, speech, and prosody, and its significant role in children's language development (specifically, in oral linguistic abilities). Broadly speaking, I am interested in how multimodal communication supports teaching-learning processes, and in particular the development of cognitive and linguistic abilities in children.
